When a file is signed, the signature is supposed to be a hash of the file encrypted with the private key, making it virtually impossible to falsely sign a file or tamper with it once it has been signed.
I made a file, used QuickSigner to produce a signature, deliberately tampered with the signed file, and checked it against the original signature.
QuickSigner determined that the file was okay. It doesn't work.
